Franklin Little League Baseball

TEE-BALL
AGES 4-6
Designed for both girls and boys this is used as an introduction to baseball division. This is non-competitive baseball that focuses on basic fundamental baseball skills including swinging a bat, throwing a baseball, and what the bases are. This is a fun development division that will focus on being active and playing with others. Games are played on Saturday's with a 1:15 time limit and practice typically 1-2 times a week.
ROOKIES
AGES 5-7
Coach pitch baseball. A step up from Tee-Ball that focuses on player development of hand-eye coordination, batting stance, swing technique, and gaining confidence seeing a baseball being pitched from the mound. Games are played 1 to 2 times a week with a 1:30 time limit and practice typically 1 to 2 times a week.
MINORS
AGES 8-10
Introductory player pitch baseball. Players are introduced to a more traditional game of baseball. This division will help further develop individual player skills and team baseball. Players are encouraged to try every position and will get a better understanding of individual positions. Games are played 1 to 2 times a week with a 1:45 time limit and practice typically 1 to 2 times a week.
MAJORS
AGES 11-12
More competitive player pitch baseball. Players skills are more focused and team development takes shape. Players will still try new positions but will have more focused positions. Games are played 1 to 2 times a week with a 1:45 time limit and practice typically 1 to 2 times a week.
SENIORS
AGES 13-16
Competitive traditional baseball played on a high school sized field. Games are played 1 to 2 times a week with a 1:45 time limit and practice typically 1 to 3 times a week.
